About Us

Tam Valley Depot does not keep a large stock of all items.  It will typically take 1 week after ordering for us to prepare your order.  If its is ready before then we will ship sooner but please be aware.  All of our products are fully assembled, bare boards without plastic boxes or covers to keep costs low and may require using jumpers to configure.

Privacy
We will never give any of your information away to anyone else for any reason.  We do not send out marketing materials.  We will email you only in regards to your order.

You can use the PayPal buttons to order through PayPal. I will be emailed your order after you checkout.

Shipping and Handling
I try to charge what it costs me to ship and pack your order.  I do not use shipping as a "profit center".  On large orders I give discounts on shipping.  Above $300 shipping is free for domestic orders.

 
We pack your order using recycled paper materials and boxes.  No styrofoam peanuts.  Static prone electronics are packed in static-safe bags.

Prices depend upon the country being shipped to.  I charge what it costs me to ship.  I make no money on shipping.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time.  We have edited this website, however, errors are occasionally made and Tam Valley Depot reserves the right to correct any errors or omissions on its website.

Sales Tax
Unless you have a reseller's permit on file with Tam Valley Depot or tax exemption certificate on file with us, all orders shipped to California will be charged sales tax. 

30-day Money-back Guarantee
If, within 30 days of having received your product, you find that it does not suit your needs, you may return it for a refund. Tam Valley Depot will refund the purchase price of the product in the same payment form, excluding shipping/handling costs, once the product is received. This refund does not apply if the product has been altered or damaged. If you decide to return the product after the 30-day evaluation period, a 20% restocking fee will be charged against the credit.

Warranty
All electronics board manufactured by Tam Valley Depot are warranted against defects in manufacturing and/or failure of the board through no fault of the customer for one year after the sale date.  This does not include boards modified by the user or kits assembled by the customer after purchase, or boards damaged by the customer through misuse as determined by Tam Valley Depot.  Servos are not manufactured by TVD are not covered under this warranty but may be returned within 30 days as above if found unsatisfactory.

Warranty does not apply if the product has been altered, modified, or damaged.  Tam Valley Depot makes no other warranty of any kind, expressed or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness of the product for any particular purpose, or any warranty relating to patents, trademarks, copyrights or other intellectual property.  Tam Valley Depot shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or loss of profits resulting from the handling or use of the product shipped.

How to Return a Product
Send items to Tam Valley Depot, 4541 Hidalgo Ave, San Diego CA 92117, USA.  Please include your name, email and a brief explanation of what you need - repair or return.  After inspecting and testing, we will return your product, or its replacement using the same shipping method used to ship the product to Tam Valley Depot within 30 days.
