Control a turnout or semaphore with 2 positions using the SInglet, a servo controller with built-in DCC decoder for controlling a single servo.
Singlet Servo DCC Accessory Decoder
The simplest and quickest way to get servos up and running on your layout. Features an integrated controller/programmer/DCC decoder/power supply and servo driver in a tiny 1.25" x 1.25" board. Comes with a servo and a servo extension cord - simply plug in the servo and connect the unit to your DCC power bus and the wiring is finished. The board mounts behind your fascia through holes drilled using the drilling template. The servo endpoints are set using a unique automatic endpoint adjustment. You can also use the buttons to set or fine-tune the endpoints as well as setting the LED colors. The DCC address is easily set by holding both buttons and then sending an accessory command. The unit memorizes the address. The unit can be used without the DCC on DC layouts by using an AC or DC power supply.
Besides turnouts, the singlet can be used with servos to animate semaphores, crossing gates and other items on your layout.

Bi-Color LEDs - Gives you full control of the indication color for each track. Each LED can be set to one of 4 colors - red, green, yellow (red and green on simultaneously) and dark(off) for each position. For example you can indicate the open track with green and the closed track with red, or you could use green/yellow, or you can have the open track be green and the closed track be dark. Any combination is possible - it is up to you!
AutoAlign Feature - The new singlet can find the servo endpoints on its own, they no longer have to be programmed with the buttons. By setting the Align jumper, the singlet will start at the center position and slowly seek to both ends until it finds resistance from the stock rails. At this point it backs off slightly and remembers the position. The algorithm has been carefully tuned to work with both standard and SG90 servos and with hinged point and solid point turnouts. Works great with the mounting kit. It will also work with other devices as long as there is a hard stop at both positions.
The singlet can still be programmed with the buttons if for some reason the AutoAlign does not find the desired positions.
Remote Relay - Add the remote relay to use for routing frog power, for adding feedback to signaling systems, or for trackside indicator lights. Choose either SPDT or DPDT. The relays use the same extension cords as the servos for simple wiring.
New in v2 (July 2011 and later) -Programming buttons can be locked out with a jumper to prevent accidental programming be leaning on the buttons. Auto-align current setpoint can be changed with a CV (CV50).

Singlet Servo Decoder with servo Includes PC board with control.programming buttons, A 12" servo extension, a miniature servo, mounting screw and instructions. For the price of a well-known slow switch machine, you also get a DCC accessory decoder and the LED and control buttons! (Servo may be different color than shown.)
SSD001 $19.95 USD Qty 5-9 $17.95 Qty 10+ $15.96
Singlet Servo Decoder - No Servo Includes just the PC board with control/programming buttons, mounting screw and instructions for those of you with servos already.
Note LEDS will are bicolor red/green in the kit same as the factory assembled unit.
Singlet Servo Decoder Kit Includes the PC board but without the LED and pushbuttons mounted. Includes 2 5mm bi-color LEDs and 2 pushbuttons loose and ready to mount as you wish. This lets you remotely install LEDs or pushbuttons to integrate into your own style of control panel. There are alternate inputs you can take advantage of in the kit. These inputs will accept either a toggle switch or a single pushbutton (each push alternates the points). You need to be comfortable with soldering to assemble the kit.
Remote DPDT Relay Board This remote relay plugs in to the breakout daughter board (below) and gives you two circuits for powering frogs, signals and so forth. Board has a 12V, 1A hi-sensitivity relay that draws just 13 mA, relay drive circuitry, and a terminal block for easy wiring. Can also be used without the Quad - red wire, 12V, black wire, ground, white wire, signal (0V = OFF, greater than 1.4V is ON). Comes with a 12" extension cord - extra length can be added with servo extensions.

Miniature Servo Mount Kit Mark II New version - has more flexible mounting with the same footprint and ease of installation. This kit is the result of many hours of experimentation in to the best way to mount a servo for the best operation. The fulcrum arrangement gives a mechanical advantage to the servo that reduces the operating current, makes alignment simpler and allows for moving even solid point turnouts reliably. The bracket fits the miniature servo sold here as well as most other 9g servos including ESky-2 and HiTec HS-55's. The kit contains everything you need to mount a servo including the bracket, mounting screws, .032" wire and instructions. The new version no longer requires cutting off the servo ear and uses a screw to hold the servo in place. Made by Motrak Models.

Video of Singlet Decoder including programming the endpoints and the DCC address as well as how to prepare the servo.
Note: since this video was made I have added the ability to change the speed of the servo and set the LED colors. After programming the endpoints the colors of the LEDs can then be set and after that the LEDs will flash alternately and in this mode you can change the speed of the servo from a dead crawl to very fast.
