The singlet has a baby brother, the Micro Singlet. It is a simple servo decoder designed to drive turnouts and only turnouts. It solves the problem of servo buzzing by turning the servo off at the end of the throw. Special circuitry and programming has been built in to accomplish this without a large jerk at restart.
The Micro Singlet works has a fascia controller for controlling the turnout manually. It is the same fascia controller used by my other servo boards. The Micro uses a pushbutton to throw the turnout. If you are in love with toggles you will need the older Singlet (see below) or the SwitchWright.
Installation is simple. It is designed to work with a servo under the table using the geometry of the SwitchWright bracket. This mounting method provides an over the center spring action that keeps the points in place after the servo turns off. After years of trying various methods this method really works the best and avoids the servo buzzing that happens when they are fighting to keep the points in place. Centering for mounting the servo is done by holding down the fascia controller button until the servo drives to the center. A tap on the button releases it.
The video (left) shows the Micro Singlet and a servo mounted on a SwitchWright bracket. It also works very nicely with the Micro Switch machine as pictured above.

Micro Switch Machine (without Snap Switch)
The Micro Switch Machine is based on the SG90 servo. This version does not have the snap switch mounted saving you money if you have another way to power the frog or you don't need powered frogs. The wire actuator is already mounted for you. The Micro Switch Machine is ready to go. Comes with a piece of double-sided foam tape for ease of mounting as well as 3 #4x1/2" screws for permanent mounting. Use with any of your servo decoders to power a turnout.
Perfect for throwing turnouts from below the table in scales from Z to O. Based on laser cut 1/8" birch plywood for toughness and durability. Pre-assembled with a miniature servo and a 3" long 0.032" wire. Will throw all hinged point turnouts and solid point turnouts up to code 100. You can add up to 2 slave units to a SwitchWright using 2 Y cables.
Use this unit with a Singlet, Quad or Octopus or other servo driver board to drive the servo.

SwitchWright Miniature Servo Bracket Kit (servo not included) The SwitchWright is a newly designed servo bracket made out of laser-cut aircraft-grade plywood to make it rigid and durable. It holds the servo securely with two screws. The kit comes with everything you need - the mount, the wire, mounting screws for the servo and for mounting the bracket to the layout. We also include a piece of double-sided foam tape for holding the bracket in place until you can get the mounting screws in place.

Miniature Servo (SG90) Subminiature 9g servo. These have plenty of power for hinged point turnouts and smaller rail (code 55 and smaller) solid point turnouts - when used with the servo mounting kit (SMK002 below) then it can handle higher loads, up to code 100 non-hinged rail. If the point rails are hinged then the rail size is not an issue - it has been used up to G scale. Our servo brackets (see below) are custom made to fit these servos. Size 1.25" wide (including mounting tabs) x 0.5" deep x 1.125" tall. Servo lead about 7". The label on the servo and the lead colors may vary between batches. Works with all of our boards.

Drill a 1/-3/8" hole in the fascia and attach with 4 screws in the corners.
Fascia Controller Mount
Made of precision 1/8" thick laser-cut acrylic, these mounts can be used to neatly mount your fascia controllers. Simply use a 1-3/8" hole saw to place on your fascia. The four included screws hold it securely in place and the recess keeps the button safely out of the way of bellies. The dark plastic makes the LEDs stand out. Comes as a kit that includes the 2 pieces and 4 screws. The pieces can be easily glued together with solvent designed for acrylic such as Weldon 3. (MEK and other styrene glues will NOT work). Just put the pieces together and flow a small amount of solvent on with a brush. Can be spray-painted a different color or used as is. Parts are laser cut by Monster Model Works.
